Experience:

Over 4 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors relating in Ireland, Scotland, and Spain. Rebecca has a BA in Geography, Planning & Environmental Policy from University College Dublin and an MSc in Marine Planning for Sustainable Development from the International Centre for Island Technology, Heriot-Watt University. Rebecca has experience undertaking Social Impact Assessments relating to Green Hydrogen projects in isolated territories. She has worked as Marine Environmental Planner for a local authority in Scotland where she gained experience engaging with Scottish island communities, maritime sectors, government and academia, and the marine planning process. Rebecca has also worked as an Environmental Consultant for an environmental odour consultancy in Bilbao, Spain identifying, analysing, and modelling odours in the ambient environment generated from anthropogenic sources to determine how it impacts society and the environment.
