BlueWise has been supporting the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) with stakeholder engagement activities throughout the preparation and completion of an Environmental Impact Assessment report (EIAR) for the expansion of the testing capabilities of the Atlantic Marine Energy Test Site (AMETS) to include the testing of floating offshore wind technologies in the existing lease, which can currently host wave energy converter devices. The EIAR will accompany their planning application to Mayo County Council in late 2023.
The stakeholder engagement services BlueWise Marine provides follow the Aarhus Convention implementation guidance, incorporating the following principles:

- provide early opportunities for public consultation
- ensure that all communications, engagement, and consultation are accessible, meaningful, transparent, and accountable
BlueWise Marine have been supporting SEAI and RSK Ireland with various services, including the development of a Stakeholder Management Plan and Stakeholder Engagement and Communication Plan. This strengthens the outreach and provides an opportunity to share information with a wider audience, enhancing the overall engagement process.
