EXPERIENCE:

Over 30 years’ experience in the marine industry including oil & gas project engineering on both manned and unmanned intervention projects, wave energy prototype development and deployment, operations and maintenance, offshore windfarm development and construction, subsea operations, heavy marine civil engineering projects and merchant navy service. Eamon is a chartered Civil and Marine Engineer with a master’s degree in Offshore Technology specialising in Subsea Engineering and has a HDip in Marine Surveying. In the marine renewables industry Eamon worked on three innovative wave energy prototype development projects and on OWF fixed wind construction in hands on roles as an engineer and marine operations supervisor and is part of a team developing Floating Solar hybrid energy solutions. He has worked for oil and gas industry majors in both the British and Norwegian sectors providing engineering consultancy services on subsea hardware installation and O&M projects.
